CFCTS Stereotaxis

From 2007 through 2014, C. F. Cherko Technical Services provided direct SolidWorks MCAD and design engineering services to this engineering design company specializing in induction furnace equipment and RF frequency power systems. Note this company consists of the same individuals and management that founded Advanced Process Systems as noted previously. Projects expedited included induction heated melt boxes, furnace enclosures, heater coils, co-axial conductor assembles and complete process systems. Efforts included generating 2D drawings. Also worked with their sales and marketing efforts to generate proposed concepts and assemblies for static pour melt box and coil assemblies and rollover melt box and coil assemblies that allow rotating the assembly and directly pouring molten material into an attached investment casting mold.

From 2009 through 2013, C. F. Cherko Technical Services provided direct SolidWorks MCAD and design engineering services to this manufacturer of gearing and speed reducers based on the roller gear concept similar to roller chain power transmission devices. Projects expedited included development of a high capacity multi-stage planetary roller gear speed reducer for use by Triumph Group, a provider of aerospace maintenance and overhaul services. Another project developed single stage speed reducers for use by Polaris Industries, a manufacturer of snowmobiles, all terrain vehicles (ATV) and the Victory and Indian line of motorcycles. Project efforts included extensive dynamic and kinematic analysis or roller gear performance, development of lubrication systems within roller gear equipment and analysis of roller and tooth contract stress and sliding velocity profiles.
